The evolution of the Australian wine began 7 years ago. In the south there is more rain in the winter and spring. In the southeast the climate is more tropical. The Syrah, renamed Shiraz, is very good to make red wines, but they have also Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon e Petit Verdot. Among the white ones, the Semillon and the great Chadonnay make wonderful wines.
