Argentina is at the top 5 of the list of wine producers all over the world. The best wine-producing region is Mendoza, where 75% of wines are made. This is a dry region, the irrigation is done with meltwater from the Andes. International vines have adapted very well to the Argentine soil, particularly the Malbec, which found the ideal climate. Because of this, this vine became the most well-known in the country, and it made the Argentine wine well-known for it outstanding quality worldwide.

There are also minor wine-producing regions but, nevertheless, important. Neuquén and Río Negro in the south, and Salta in the north, where the wineries are 2000 meters above sea level.

As regards white wines, Torrontés is a great label, which produces wine with a floral perfume. Other great labels are Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
