There are many stories about Rodizio, but the most well-known one is the one that tells us the story of a waiter in the 60s that made a mistake with some customers' orders. To avoid trouble, and to disguise the mistake made by the waiter and to please all the customers, the manager decided to place all the dishes on the tables of the restaurant .
That was the beginning of the Rodizio service, also known in the south of Brazil as Espeto Corrido.
There is no accurate translation of Rodizio or Espeto Corrido. The correct definition is: unlimited continuous service for a fixed price, where the customers can choose several kinds of meals made the Gaucho way.
Vento Haragano also provides each guest at the table with a two-sided disk to control the pace of the meals. The green side signals to the waiters they can start serving the fire-roasted meals, while the red side indicates a stopping point. You can turn it back to green so waiters can start offering you meat again.
